CEZ Group is the first Czech company to join the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. The Council represents the voice of business in creating conditions for achieving climate neutrality, biodiversity protection and equal opportunities

CEZ Group has become a member of the prestigious World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), an association of over 230 global companies. Membership in this organization is by direct invitation only, and CEZ is the first company from the Czech Republic to receive it. The Council connects companies across continents, exchanges experiences and best solutions, and creates methodologies for setting and achieving sustainability goals. It also acts as a representative of business in the adoption of international standards or legislation.
