CEZ reveals e-mobility plans for 2025: 1,000 charging stations, one in five ultra-fast and a total network capacity of 100 MW
Every fifth ultra-fast station, maintaining the position of the operator of the most powerful Czech public charging network and at least 180 new stations with a predominance of ultra-fast stations with a capacity of 150+ kW. These are CEZ's main plans in electromobility for 2025. Thanks to the accelerated construction of ultrafast stations, the network capacity will increase from 70 MW to 100 MW year-on-year, which is comparable to a power plant unit. This means that drivers will continue to recharge at CEZ at the fastest average speed in the country. This is also why the use of the grid is growing rapidly. While last year people at ČEZ charging stations took 5.5 million kWh of certified emission-free energy, this year it will be well over 8 million. The network is being built thanks to CEF grant programmes, the Operational Programme Transport and ČEZ's own funds.
