Damages from the floods to CEZ Group's property reach 1 billion. At the same time, CEZ sent millions of crowns, power generators and other material aid to the affected areas, and offered customers a deferral of their energy bills.

CEZ Group has preliminarily estimated the extent of damage caused by the September floods at CZK 900-1100 million. This is a first indicative estimate, which will be continuously refined during the repair work. The vast majority of the estimated amount is attributable to distribution facilities and objects of ČEZ Distribuce and Gasnet. At the same time, CEZ Group is directing financial and material aid to the affected areas, and is allowing customers to defer advance payments.
