The impressive cooling tower designs play a key role in the efficient cooling of the plant's production cycle. But with a total internal and external shell area of 424,000 square metres, their control is extremely challenging. The Dukovany power plant will now be using the latest technology in cooperation with the Czech Technical University. Drones, cameras, laser scanners and artificial intelligence evaluation will be deployed instead of suspended catwalks and high-rise work. This is what the new system looks like, which experts have tested in recent months on one of the cooling towers of the Dukovany power plant. The aim was to accurately map its condition and verify the functionality of the new modern technologies.
