Going to CEZ for nuclear: one in four new hires joined the nuclear industry last year

A total of 1,393 new employees put on the imaginary orange CEZ uniform last year. One in four of them went into the nuclear field, either to existing nuclear power plants or to teams preparing new large and modular nuclear power plants. The second area with the largest increase in the number of people hired last year was CEZ Sales, and CEZ Distribution came in third. The largest Czech energy sector attracts especially young university graduates: almost half of the employees hired last year have a university degree. The share of women in new hires remains stable, at 36% last year, similar to 2023.
