From the beginning of February to the end of November, the nesting of the peregrine falcon on high-rise structures (chimneys and cooling towers) of the CEZ Group was monitored in 2024. Ornithologists from ALKA Wildlife monitored eleven pairs of this critically endangered raptor, eight of which were successful in raising their young. Thus, 23 new falcons flew out into the world. The current mild winter has already encouraged the falcons to return to their "summer apartments". Most of the pairs are already on the breeding grounds and are starting to fledge.
