In Havířov, the modernization of the energy sector in a total of 22 buildings owned by the city is underway, involving the insulation of the buildings, the installation of photovoltaics, the modernization of air conditioning and lighting, and the implementation of a computer-controlled system of individual temperature control in individual rooms. ENESA from the ČEZ ESCO holding company will be in charge of the project and will also contractually guarantee the energy cost savings. The annual savings will amount to more than CZK 15 million. The city is not investing any of its own funds in the energy-saving measures. The EPC project will be repaid from the savings themselves.
