Vodafone and CEZ strengthen the safety of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. This is the first nuclear power plant in Europe to use a mobile private separate 5G network

The parameters provided by the state-of-the-art 5G mobile network can now be used to create a high-performance, completely isolated and secure wireless network. Vodafone has recently launched just such a 5G standalone network in a pilot operation for CEZ at the Temelín nuclear power plant. It is the first of its kind in a nuclear power plant in Europe. The deployment of new technologies and communication methods in the power plant's live operation will now be tested jointly by both parties. This will include, for example, the use of enhanced reality glasses.
