Implementation objective

The bike path connects both municipalities and significantly increases the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. Since the municipalities are less than 1 km apart, it is obvious that we encounter heavy pedestrian and cyclist movement on the way to work, etc. Due to the high intensity of traffic on the road, 6,770 vehicles a day, the situation was especially dangerous for cyclists.

Thanks to the careful selection of LED luminaires, it was possible to illuminate both the cycle path and the adjacent road for motor vehicles. The location of the lighting system also reduces the possible risk of the vehicle or people hitting the mast.
