New peaking hot water unit with a pumping station in the area of the Holešovice heating plant

This represents a significant reinforcement of the Prague heating system, both by increasing the installed capacity of sources in the Prague heating system, and by increasing the flexibility and security of heat supply in Prague.

Subject of realization

The new THOL4 hot water unit was constructed as a peaking unit and a backup unit
It also includes a pumping station consisting of two pump sets
The unit's installed capacity is 47 MWt, while heat generation is secured by two gas-fired gas boilers with an individual output of 23.5 MWt
