Change in the ČEZ management, Peter Bodnár was elected today to the new Management Board member

Prague, August 20, 2009

At the end of September Zdeněk Pasák, member of the Management Board and director of the Human Resources Division decided to leave ČEZ company. His departure after the four years of work in the management of the ČEZ group was motivated by personal reasons. „Zdeněk Pasák did a very good job during his functional period. He succeeded to make up an excellent team and to introduce the best practice in the region of human resources corresponding to functioning of large international companies", Martin Roman, General Director and Chairman of ČEZ, a.s Management Board appreciated his work.

Today, the Supervisory Board of the company named Ing. Peter Bodnár, director of the investments division to the free place of the ČEZ a.s. Management Board member. Peter Bodnár is an experienced specialist from the energetic sector, he worked before his arrival into the ČEZ Group in the Slovenské Elektrárne, a.s. company where he lead the process of restructuring and was responsible for the implementation of changes in the company. At the end of 2005, he participated in the preparation of the entry of the Enel Italian company into the Slovak Power Plants. Since 2002 he had been working in the French multi-national company Alstom Power service as General Director for the Slovak and later on Czech Republics. At his position in ČEZ, a. s., Mr. Peter Bodnár is liable for the processes of preparation and implementation of the program of renewal of the inland and foreign production sources of ČEZ, a. s.

Since October 1, 2009 the management of the human resources division will be taken over by Ing. Hana Krbcová, who had been working in it as one of the directors up to now. Hana Krbcová had been working in power engineering since 1978, at first in economic positions and then in the field of human resources. She graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, labour-law post-graduate study at the Faculty of Law in Prague and International Institute of Certified Studies in Strategic Management. She is the vice-president of the Czech Society for Human Resources Development liable for the preparation and implementation of nation-wide projects and member of the Council for the Human Resources Development in the Moravian-Silesian Region.
