Green Energy

The energy sector is currently undergoing its biggest changes in the last few decades. An emphasis on ecology, regulatory change, technological progress and customer demand is leading the energy industry towards decentralized and environmentally friendly resources and procedures. The new energy industry combines an ecological approach with the requirements to meet the individual needs of customers. Although it is often emphasised through renewable energy sources, the focus is much broader and includes the gradual introduction of higher electricity production directly at consumption points, construction of self-managing smart distribution networks, support for digitalization and automation in energy solutions, reduction of energy waste, and promotion of efficient energy use. In the medium-term horizon, the new energy sector is one of the biggest growth opportunities for the CEZ Group.
