Decrease in the registered capital of ČEZ
ČEZ, a. s., with the registered office at Praha 4, Duhová 2/1444, registered in the Commercial Register kept at the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 1581, announces that on 12 February 2009, the Resolution of the Municipal Court in Prague No. F 4316/2009 regarding the entry of a decrease in the company's registered capital became legally effective. The company's registered capital has been decreased by the amount of CZK 5,422,108,400 from the original amount of CZ 59,221,084,300 to the amount of CZK 53,798,975,900. The company's registered capital is now divided to 537,989,759 bearer shares in dematerialized form in the nominal value of CZK 100. The company has currently filed an application for deletion of 54,221,084 own shares from the records kept at the Securities Centre. By deleting these shares from the above-mentioned records, the resolution of the general assembly according to which the Board of Directors, after having completed the process of repurchasing own shares, was committed to decrease the company's registered capital by the acquired own shares will be fulfilled.
