Short-dated Private Placement Bond Issue

Prague, 8 December 2009 - ČEZ, a. s., has received proceeds of a 18month EUR110mil. the private placement bond issue. The bond pays a coupon of 3M EURIBOR + 0,45%. Société Générale acted as sole agent.
