A new joint venture ENERGONUCLEAR S.A. (the „Company") has been incorporated as a part of strategic alliance concluded between European energy companies. Its registered capital amounts to RON 19 694 500. ČEZ, a. s. owns a 9,15 % stake of the registered capital. Majority shareholder of the Company is Romanian Sociatatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica S.A., which holds 51 % of the shares.
The Company has been incorporated in order to develop and operate the 3rd and 4th blocks of the Romanian Cernavoda nuclear power plant.
