ČEZ begins to publish information on the unavailability of its production units
Since 25th April 2007, ČEZ has been publishing on its website, the overview of planned outages (unavailability) of its own production units. This step is connected with the European trend of higher transparency which ČEZ actively endorses. By publishing the information on the unavailability of its resources, ČEZ has become the second company in Europe to support greater transparency of the European power market. In this manner, ČEZ increases the transparency of the operation of its own production units, the safety and reliability of transmission and distribution systems and the general awareness of the planned operation of resources including the Temelín Nuclear Power plant. ČEZ publishes the plan of the unavailability of production units greater than 100 MW one year in advance. Each month, these plans are further specified in greater detail.
