Information from the NPP Temelín 126 / 2008

Unit 1 is in operation at planned power level. Unit 2 operates at 80% RTP. Unit 2 was synchronized with the power distribution grid on Sunday one hour after midnight. Hereby, its outage was terminated. It lasted for 50,2 days and was shortened by 68 hours in comparison with the schedule. During Sunday, the reactor power was increased up to 80% RTP. Currently, additional power ascension tests aimed at the determination of the reactor power and its distribution are being carried out at this power level. After their completion, the unit will start to operate at full rated power.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on June 30, 2008 at 8:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1004 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  3 720 826 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on June 30, 2008 at 8:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 80 %
  • Turbine generator output - 780 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 990 379 MWh
