Information from the NPP Temelín 140 / 2008

Both he first and the second Units are operated at a planned power levels. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

Tomorrow, on Saturday July 19 at 01:00 o'clock, Unit 2 will be for a short time disconnected from the distribution grid. The reason of the electricity production interruption is a repair of the drain line under the high pressure turbine. The reactor power will be reduced and stabilized at the level of 35 % RTP. The repeated unit synchronization with the power distribution grid is scheduled for the same day, i.e. Saturday July 19 at 11 o'clock. Hence, the Temelín Unit 2 will interrupt its electricity production for about ten hours.
