Information on NPP Temelín 162/2006
Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1, the technicians have successfully completed all prescribed reactor core physics tests at power levels up to 90%.
All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units. Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on August 21, 2006 at 08:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 – power operation
· Reactor power is 90 %
· Turbine generator output – 905 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 3 579 501 MWh Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on August 21, 2006 at 08:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 – power effect operation *
· Reactor power is 85 %
· Turbine generator output – 854 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 513 486 MWh *Power effect – a use of the reactor core physics properties that make possible the maximum possible exploitation of the energy contained in the fuel. It comes into exploitation exclusively at the end of the fuel campaign; it is due to it that the fuel campaign may be prolonged by up to 20 days.
