JE Temelin traffic

INFORMATION ON NPP TEMELÍN 210 / 2008

Unit 1 is in the outage. At present the works on the preparation of turbine generator´s repair is under way. Today the low pressure turbine rotor will be transported to Škoda Power Company in Plzeň. The inspections and repair will be carried out there. Yesterday at 24 o´clock the Unit 2 was switched from the distribution grid. Its short outage has started. During the outage the oil intake to the control valves will be repaired. According the schedule the unit will be switched on grid this evening.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on October 24, 2008 at 10:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 3 
  • Reactor power is 0 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  4 347 699 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on October 24, 2008 at 10:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 13 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 768 153 MWh
