JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 215/2006

Unit 1 is in operation on planned power level. At Unit 2, the operators continue in preparations for the Unit start after the refueling based on completed analyses and their assessment.

November 2, 2006

During the night shift, the technicians put the reactor coolant pumps in operation, vented the reactor coolant circuit and, currently, are preparing the hot pressure tests. Their successfull mastering together with a series of operational inspections of the equipment is a condition for the reaktor start.
All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on November 2, 2006 at 07:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 96 %
· Turbine generator output - 975 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 156 682 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on November 2, 2006 at 07:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 6
· Reactor power is 0 %
· Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 609 632 MWh
