Unit 1 is in operation at planned power. At Unit 2, the operators started the reactor on Friday and, currently, are performing a week lasting series of core physics tests. After its completion, they will synchronize the Unit to the distribution grid.
During the past weekend, the planned regular test of the reactor control rods has been successfully carried out at Unit 1. Yesterday evening, the turbine generator of Unit 1 was re-synchronized to the distribution grid. From the early morning, Unit 1 operates at full power and delivers the planned amount of electricity to the power distribution grid of the Czech Republic.
All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.
