JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 33 / 2008

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation at full rated power. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units. After midnight from Friday to Saturday Unit 1 will be, as planned, shut down for a short period. The reason is the performance of the regular test of the reactor control rods. In accordance with the outage schedule, Unit 1 should renew electricity supply again on Sunday, 17th February 2008.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on February 15, 2008 at 08:45 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 -  power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1014 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 1 093 068 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on February 15, 2008 at 08:45 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation 
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 997 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 1 053 493 MWh
