JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 59 / 2008

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1, the few days outage is under way. The auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

During the prolonged weekend, an inspection of all  28 pressurizer electric heaters has been performed. It showed the need for repair of two of them. In compliance with the modified schedule, Unit 1 should be synchronized to the distribution grid on Monday the 31 of March.The operations personnel used the Unit 1 outage to perform the control rod drop test.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on March 25, 2008 at 10:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 6
  • Reactor power is 0 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 1 886 508 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on March 25, 2008 at 10:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation 
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 994 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 1 954 431 MWh
