New director of CEZ Resources construction and development section

Peter Bodnar has become director of the new section Resources construction and development. Acting as the director, he is responsible for the preparation and realization of the programme of CEZ´s domestic and foreign production resources renewal.

Peter Bodnar is coming to CEZ from Slovenske Elektrarne, where he worked as director of the Quality and Processes Enhancement section. He led the restructuring process there and was responsible for the implementation of changes in the firm. At the end of 2005, he took part in preparing the Italian Enel´s entry into Slovenske Elektrarne.  Since 2002, he has been working for the French multinational company Alstom Power Service as general director for the Slovak Republic, and later also for the Czech Republic. In the years 1992-2001, Peter Bodnar worked in Istroenergo Group company´s management positions, where he gained experience in private enterprising. Together with Skoda Holding he participated in projects in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and in Cuba.

Immediately after he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in 1984, he worked in SES Tlmace as a constructer and designer, later as chief of projection. Peter Bodnar (47) is married and has two children. His hobbies include travelling and tennis. He activelly communicates in English, Russian and Hungarian.
