The Unit 2 of Temelín will tune the output increase. The short disconnection from the grid will not affect the consumers.
Next Thursday (20.9.) evening, Temelín Unit 2 will interrupt electricity production for several days. The reason are modifications of the condenser in the non-nuclear part of the plant. After its cleaning, the plant will achieve a higher output. During the works, the Unit's 2 reactor and other equipment will remain in the so-called hot conditions without having to go to a complete shutdown.
