The first Unit is operated at a planned power level. At Unit 2, the planned outage connected with the replacement of ¼ of fuel in the reactor is under way. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

Units 1,2,3,4 are operated at full rated power. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with operational needs of units. Electricity production since the beginning of operation: 272 687 945 MWh.

A tender for a strategic partner in the present plant modernization project and potentially for construction of new resources in the locality has been announced by the state-owned energy company Termoelectrica, which operates thermal power plants in Romania. CEZ Power Company has today submitted documents confirming fulfillment of entry conditions for the tender under its pre-qualifying round and expressed an interest in this project.
