Bulam

In terms of installed capacity, Bulam is the smallest hydro-electric power plant operated by Akenerji. The 7MW facility is located in a mountainous region in the south-eastern part of Turkey, near the City of Adiyman.

A feeder canal from a weir-type dam, followed by a power tunnel and finally a penstock supply sufficient quantity of water to two Francis turbines in the machine room.

The construction project of the Bulam Power Plant with the total cost of almost USD 25 million started in January 2008, the plant started commercial operation in August 2010.
