Feke I
The Feke I Hydro Electric Power Plant is located in south-eastern Turkey. The environmentally-friendly electricity production plant with an installed power of 29 MW was commissioned in June 2012. In comparison with the Himmetli power plant located nearby, the construction of which was without any greater technical problems, building the Feke I power plant was technically very complicated. The general geological conditions and landslides in the steep river valley complicated the construction of the power plant machine room considerably so that it had to be relocated to another place in the locality. Compared to the other Akenerji power plants in this region, Feke I has the longest water supply tunnel to the machine room - approx. 7.5 km in length.
