Ayyildiz Wind Park (Turkey)

Ayyildiz Wind Park is near the Bandirma town, at a high altitude, yet not far from the Sea of Marmara. Local wind conditions (with prevalence of north and north-east winds) are therefore very good.

Ayyildiz Wind Park was built in two stages. In the first stage, five V 90/3000 turbines were put into operation, the first one was connected in 2009.  

With the addition of four more turbines (V 112/3300), the installed capacity has increased to 28.2 MW since January 2017.

All nine turbines were supplied by the Danish manufacturer VESTAS.
