Announcement of registration of the merger through consolidation of ČEZnet, a.s. and ČEZData, s.r.o. in the Companies Register
ČEZ, a. s., the company with the registered office Prague 4, Duhová 2/1444, postcode 140 53, company registration number (IČ) 452 74 649, has the honour to announce that on 24 September 2008, the appropriate registration court rendered the final decision on registration of the merger through consolidation of two 100%-owned subsidiaries of ČEZ, a. s., namely the telecommunication company ČEZnet, a.s., and the IT company ČEZData, s.r.o., in the Companies Register. The change will be registered on 1 October 2008 and on that date the property of the defunct company ČEZData, s.r.o., shall be transferred to the succession company ČEZnet, a.s., together with its rights and obligations arising from labour relations.
The integration objective is particularly achievement of higher long-term effectiveness of the activities and costs savings with regard to the presumed synergy effects.
