By the end of last year the advised sale of the 9.15% share of CEZ in the project company EnergoNuclear S.A. was completed. The shares were sold at their nominal value (i.e. the same value at which they were acquired by CEZ) to Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica S.A., the majority owner of the project to complete the construction of the 3rd and 4th block of the Romanian Cernavoda nuclear power plant.
The transaction is in line with the notified intention of the CEZ Group to concentrate mainly on investments in the Czech Republic and to consolidate and develop its existing assets abroad.
