Changes in the Supervisory Board of ČEZ

The general meeting of shareholders of power engineering company ČEZ elected new members of the Supervisory Board Vlastimil Jiřík and Miloš Kebrdle yesterday. The general meeting also withdrew Tomáš Hϋner and Josef Janeček from the Supervisory Board.

In 2007-2008 Vlastimil Jiřík (1968) worked as the advisor of the Minister of Finance responsible for sale of 7 % of the equity share in ČEZ. In former times he held the office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors in companies such as XODAX, REDASH, SLEZAN Frýdek-Místek and XEMAX.

Another new member of the Supervisory Board is Miloš Kebrdle (1950). The current secretary of the Czech Gas Association (Český plynárenský svaz) used to be also the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Managing Director of Středočeská plynárenská.
