At the Supervisory Board session of February 24, 2011, the Board acknowledged the resignation of its current member Asst. Prof. Lubomír Lízal PhD.; his resignation took effect as of February 24, 2011. Lubomír Lízal was a member of CEZ' Supervisory Board from November 2010 based on a nomination by the Czech Ministry of Finance.
On February 13, 2011, the Czech President nominated Lubomír Lízal member of the Czech National Bank Board. In order to avoid a potential conflict of interests, he resolved to end his membership in the Supervisory Board of ČEZ, a.s.
