The tenure of Mr. Zdeněk Hrubý, a member of the Supervisory Board, has expired this week. The initial four-year tenure ended as at 22 February 2011 and, in accordance with Article 19 par. 9 of the Articles of Association of CEZ, a. s. in force, it was extended by three months. Mr. Zdeněk Hrubý continues to remain in the position of Chairman of the Audit Committee of CEZ, a. s., an independent body of the company.
Members of the Supervisory Board are elected by the General Meeting of CEZ, a. s. that is to be held next week on 1 June 2011.
