Information from Temelín NPP

At Unit 1, the planned outage connected with the replacement of ¼ of fuel in the reactor is under way. Unit 2 is in operation at planned power. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the Units' operation needs.

Today at 3:51 AM, Unit 2 of Temelín power plant restored electricity generation. By connecting the Unit to the power grid, the outage was completed which had a length of 104.27 days. Staff at the plant will now gradually increase the reactor power and at full power, the Unit 2 will be on Sunday, August 2nd.

-      The Unit is in a planned outage

-      Turbine generator output - 0 MWe

-      Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 931 783 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on 31 July 2015 at 10:30 o'clock:

-      Unit 1 is in operation at planned power.

-      Turbine generator output - 840 MWe

-      Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 725 540 MWh
