CEZ has become the only owner of Teplarenska, a.s.

Yesterday CEZ Power Group became 100 % owner of Teplarenska, a.s. Agreement on that intention was presented in May last year.

Through its distribution system, Teplarenska a.s. supplies heat to the cities of Chomutov, Jirkov, Klasterec nad Ohri, Kadan, Teplice, Bilina, Krupka, Dubi, Duchcov, Hrob and Osek.

As the main heat suppliers to Teplarenska are power plants of CEZ – Tusimice, Prunerov and Ledvice, it was CEZ´s interest to gain the distribution system.

Teplarenska, a. s. was one of two succession companies that were established by  division of United Energy, a.s. at the end of last year.
