In the course of the Unit 2 outage, 1/4 of the reactor fuel will be replaced. As at the outage of the Unit 1 this year, new nuclear fuel will be used at Unit 2. The most important work in the unit’s non-nuclear part will be the modernization of the flow through part of the HP turbine. The output of the turbine generator will increase by at least 20 MWe due to this modification.
