JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 1 / 2008

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation at full rated power. The auxiliary systems of the power plant are in operation in accordance with the operational needs of the units.

Both Units produced 12.26 billion kWh electric energy during the year 2007. The shown energy amount equates to the consumption of the Southern Bohemian region households for approximately 9.5 years.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on January 2, 2008 at 8:15 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation 
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1012 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 24 279 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on January 2, 2008 at 8:15 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1001 MW
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 24 018 MWh
