Information on NPP Temelín 105 / 2007

Unit 1 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 2, a planned outage is under way, that is connected with the annual refueling of ¼ of the reactor fuel. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Yesterday night, the loading of the fuel assemblies into the Unit 2 reactor started. 48 new modernized fuel assemblies will be loaded into the reactor core and 115 assemblies from the previous campaigns will be reused. In accordance with the schedule, the refueling will be completed within the course of the next week.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on May 29, 2007 at 08:45 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 97 %
· Turbine generator output - 980 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 1 391 014 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on May 29, 2007 at 08:45 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 6
· Reactor power is 0 %
· Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 975 006 MWh
