JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 108 / 2006

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1, the technicians started regular outage connected with the annual refueling of 1/4 of the reactor fuel and with the check of the process equipment on Friday June 2, 2006.

A part of the planned outage will be also the replacement of the high pressure turbine rotor that has been already carried out at Unit 2 in January. The technicians assume that after completion of all planned activities Unit 1 will restore electricity supplies into the distribution grid in August. All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

· Unit is in Mode 6
· Reactor power is 0 %
· Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 3 450 131 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on June 5, 2006 at 07:30 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 96 %
· Turbine generator output - 979 MW
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 904 548 MWh
