Information on NPP Temelín 135 / 2007

The first Unit is operated at a planned power level. Unit 2 was re-synchronized with the power distribution grid after the outage for the refueling of ¼ of the fuel yesterday at 9:56 a.m. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with their operation needs.

July 12, 2007

Yesterday, the operations personnel increased the reactor power up to the level of 80 % RTP. Unit 2 will remain stabilized at this power till the next weekend and, in the mean time, the workers of the power plant will carry out additional planned power tests. After their completion, Unit 2 will also start to operate at full power.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on July 12, 2007 at 08:45 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 97 %
· Turbine generator output - 980 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 427 004 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on July 12, 2007 at 08:45 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 80 %
· Turbine generator output - 787 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 983 015 MWh
