Information on NPP Temelín 145 / 2007

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation at full rated power. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are in operation in accordance with the operational needs of the units.

July 26, 2007

Preliminary results of the complex test of turbine confirmed expected behavior enhancement (minimization of the vibrations) of the modernized high pressure turbine at Unit 2. In order to further enhance the monitored parameters, a short term reactor power reduction and turbine generator disconnection with the power distribution grid will be made at Unit 2 on Friday in the night hours. During the short term planned turbine generator trip, its final weighing and modification and inspection of the control valves will be performed. The shown activities will be carried out based on the results of the great revision that took place during the preceding outage and on the data acquired during the operation at full power. The objective is to provide for the best possible parameters of the complete turbine set before the planned autumn guarantee measurement. On Sunday afternoon, the resynchronization of the unit to the distribution grid is envisaged.
