Information on NPP Temelín 189 / 2007

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1, the last power tests at the reactor power of 30% RTP will be completed today. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

After completion of these tests, the reactor power will be increased to 50 % and the Unit 1 will be ready for the synchronizing to the power distribution grid. This is planed for tomorrow. By the turbine generator synchronization to the power distribution grid, the outage of Unit 1 will be terminated.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on September 26, 2007 at 9:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1- power operation
  • Reactor power is 30 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 2 964 775 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on September 26, 2007 at 9:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1004 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 782 065 MWh
