Information on NPP Temelín 198 / 2007

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation at full rated power. The auxiliary systems of the power plant are in operation in accordance with the operational needs of the units.

Yesterday morning, a short term power reduction of Unit 1 occurred. Its reason was the signal of the turbine driven feedwater pump protection that was brought about at the pump’s revision. The automatic systems have reduced the reactor power to 38 % RTP for a short time. The electricity delivery was not interrupted. The Unit reached the full power anew yesterday shortly after 4 o’clock p.m. After the output reduction, the complex 144 hours trial run of the modernized turbine set has been suspended. It has been restored yesterday at 6 o’clock p.m.
