JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 205 / 2008

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1 the physical tests at the minimum reactor power level are carried out, they will be completed during the weekend. Subsequently, the reactor power will be increased and Unit 1 will be synchronized to the power distribution grid. The auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on October 17, 2008 at 09:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 2
  • Reactor power is 0 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  4 347 699 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on October 17, 2008 at 09:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1008 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  5 606 897 MWh
