JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 21 / 2006

Unit 1 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 2, the leakage repair has been terminated and pressure test performed during the weekend.

Also, the turbine assembly has been completed at Unit 2 during the weekend and the turbine has been brought to the turning gear. The turning gear revolves the turbine rotor with a speed of 26 revolutions per minute. The operations personnel started the unit preparation to its restart to operation that is planned for the second half of this week All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on January 30, 2006 at 09:30 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 98 %
· Turbine generator output - 981 MW
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 658 192 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on January 30, 2006 at 09:30 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 4
· Reactor power is 0%
· Turbine generator output - 0 MW (at the turning gear with 26 revolutions per minute)
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 54 079 MWh
