Information on NPP Temelín 221/2006

Unit 1 is in operation on planned power level. At Unit 2, the technicians completed the preparations of the equipment and, on the basis of the permit of the State Office for Nuclear Safety, they are about to restart the reactor.

Tonight, the Unit 1 will be as planned once more shutdown for a short time. The reason for it is the performance of the regular test of the reactor control rods. The electricity delivery from the Unit 1 will be restored on Monday morning.
All auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on November 10, 2006 at 07:00 o‘clock:
· Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
· Reactor power is 96 %
· Turbine generator output - 974 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 343 943 MWh

· Unit is in Mode 3
· Reactor power is 0 %
· Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
· Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 609 632 MWh
