Information on NPP Temelín 221 / 2007

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation at full rated power. The auxiliary systems of the power plant are in operation in accordance with the operational needs of the units.

On Sunday early morning, the production Unit 1 has been re-synchronized to the power distribution grid after a short time planned outage. Shortly before 11 a.m., the  Unit 1 reactor achieved full power. During the nine hours lasting outage, the leakage in the outlet of the pressure measurement from the high pressure turbine has been repaired.

 Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on November 12, 2007 at 8:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation 
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1015 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 025 479 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on November 12, 2007 at 8:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1010 MW
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 891 542 MWh
