Information on NPP Temelín 224 / 2007

Both Unit 1 and 2 are in operation at full rated power. The auxiliary systems of the power plant are in operation in accordance with the operational needs of the units.

During yesterday morning, the Temelín power plant surpassed the annual production of 10 billions kWh of electric energy. The shown energy amount would almost cover the consumption of all Czech households for the three quarters of this year or the consumption of the Southern Bohemian region for a time of approximately 28 months.

  Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on November 15, 2007 at 8:45 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation 
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1013 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 079 870 MWh

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1008 MW
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 964 336 MWh
